PADEL FACILITIES REMAIN OPEN AND ARE OPERATING AS NORMAL. TRAINING AND MATCHES TO GO AHEAD AS PLANNED

To all Padel Federation of Ireland members and visitors

Padel facilities throughout the country remain open and are operating as normal. The Clubs’ fixtures and the hosting of club training sessions will currently go ahead as planned, unless further guidance is issued by Sport Ireland.

We would ask our members or visitors to our facilities to be mindful of current COVID-19 (coronavirus) prevention guidelines and advice that is available from the HSE online. You may also find further information and advice in your local Club. This includes official advice and guidance that we encourage all staff and visitors to follow.

The well-being of everybody in our PFI community is our number one priority. We take this opportunity to remind everyone that the best way to protect yourself is to wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (see https://www2.hse.ie/wellbeing/how-to-wash-your-hands.html), especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Other sensible measures include turning your head away from people when you sneeze, using a tissue or your sleeve and disposing of tissues quickly.

The Padel Federation of Ireland will continue to take guidance from the HSE and the Clubs will keep all our members and visitors up to date if the situation changes via our website and social media channels.

Kind regards,

Padel Federation of Ireland
