This week, Ireland was represented at the Global Padel Conference held alongside the World Padel Summit (WPS), Barcelona, with PFI President Naomi Nicholl invited over to speak about how national federations are driving the next phase of padel expansion. Naomi joined Koji Nakatsuka, Japan Padel Association and, FIP Board member, for a featured roundtable discussion on how national federations are driving the next phase of padel expansion.
Together, they explored sustainability, international and local collaboration, emphasis on junior development and the approaches federations are taking to bring new players, communities, and emerging markets into the sport. The discussion reflected the shared commitment and drive across the global community to support the continued evolution of padel as an increasingly connected, structured, and accessible international sport.
