Dylan Byrne

I’m Dylan Byrne, a qualified padel coach based in Limerick and the founder of DB Padel Academy. Ranked in the top 100 in Ireland, I bring my experience as a competitive player and my enthusiasm for the sport to every coaching session. My aim is to help players improve their skills, build confidence and enjoy their time on court. I work with beginners learning the basics, players looking to become more consistent and those ready to develop their competitive game. My coaching focuses on clear, practical advice that players can put into action straight away. Sessions cover technique, positioning, shot selection and match tactics, with each lesson adapted to the player’s experience, goals and pace of learning. I believe understanding why you play a shot is just as important as knowing how to hit it. Through DB Padel Academy, I offer individual and small-group coaching for juniors and adults on an indoor court in Limerick. I aim to create a welcoming, encouraging environment where players feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or preparing for competition, my goal is to help you progress and develop a lasting enjoyment of padel.
